On the occasion of the European Night of Museums
attend the exceptional theatrical performance "In those times, love" by Gilles SEGAL at the Shoah Memorial.

Synopsis

Z. has just become a grandfather. He decides to record for his son, on magnetic tapes, a memory forever engraved in his memory: his meeting with a father and his young boy in the train that led them to the death camps. The journey time, ignoring the chaos that settles day by day in the wagon, this father will take advantage of every moment to transmit to his son the essential of what could have made him a man.

The piece is sequenced into 7 chapters for the 7 days of the train journey. Seven days like the creation of the world, a world that this father refuses to see collapse.

The incredible poetry and humor that emerge from this text give the piece a strength and an emotion of rare intensity.
