First educational meetings between Albanians, Serbs and Northern Macedonians

The Shoah Memorial, the Albanian association of history teachers, the Memorial of the Jews of Macedonia and the Ministry of Education of Serbia organized from 26 to 28 March 2019 in Skopje, the first educational meetings bringing together 45 teachers from the three countries.

This unprecedented regional dialogue is part of the "Shoah as a starting point" program and has the support of the Claims conference and Europe for Citizens. The participants worked together on Jewish refugees in Albania (nearly 2000), local policies of cooperation with the Nazis and the historical roots of transnational antagonisms.
