Rainer Höss, grandson of SS officer Rudolf Höss, visits the Shoah Memorial

Rainer Höss, grandson of Rudolf Höss, an SS officer who led the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camps from May 1940 to December 1943, and again from May to September 1944 for the arrival of Hungarian Jews, visited the Shoah Memorial in Paris on Wednesday 25 January 2017.

Rainer Höss chose to study Nazism and fight its resurgences today. He met survivors of the Holocaust, participated in a documentary in Israel and also goes to meet students in Germany and elsewhere to alert them to the risks of racism and antisemitism.
