In March 2025, the Shoah Memorial recommits itself and offers activities for school audiences.
For students from 9th to 12th grade
During this activity, students visit the Shoah Memorial and learn about the main places of remembrance and museum spaces.
Secondly, accompanied by a documentalist, they discover the origins of the documentation center (what funds make up the archives of the Memorial? How were the archives deposited? Preserved? What knowledge do they provide us?), then the archives specific to their teacher’s educational project.
This activity contributes to a reflection on the construction of writing the history of the Shoah with students.
Duration: 3 hours
Price: €99
Maximum Enrollment: Only one class at a time
Public: this activity is particularly aimed at institutions with a specific educational project requiring research in the archives of the Memorial (preparation of a competition, convoy 77, research on people deported from the commune of the institution...).
