In March 2025, the Shoah Memorial recommits itself and offers activities for school audiences.
For students from 9th grade to 12th grade
During this activity, the students visit the Shoah Memorial by learning about the main places of memory and spaces of the museum.
In a second phase, accompanied by a documentalist, they discover the origins of the documentation center (what funds make up the archives of the Memorial? How were the archives deposited? Preserved? What knowledge do they bring us?), then the archives specific to their teacher’s educational project.
This activity contributes to continuing a reflection on the construction of writing the history of the Shoah with the students.
Duration: 3 h
Price: 99 €
Maximum number of students: one class at a time
Public: this activity is aimed more particularly at establishments with a specific educational project requiring research in the archives of the Memorial (preparation of a competition, procession 77, research on deportees from the commune of the establishment...).
