Signing of partnership agreements in January 2017
The Shoah Memorial signed three partnership agreements during the month of January 2017 with the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the Nice Academy and the Secretary of State for Veterans and Memory. These partnerships will enable the Memorial to strengthen its actions, particularly on the educational level by continuing its work of transmission with young people and teacher training.
- On 18 January 2017, the Shoah Memorial received Audrey Azoulay, Minister of Culture and Communication, to sign an agreement aimed at strengthening cooperation between the Memorial and the ministry. The signing was followed by a private visit of the new exhibition "Shoah and Comics" with the minister.

- On 24 January 2017, Jacques Fredj, director of the Shoah Memorial, met with Emmanuel Ethis, rector of the Nice Academy, to sign a partnership agreement whose objective is both to formalize the collaboration initiated for many years between the two institutions (memory trips to Auschwitz for high school students, teacher training...) but also now to offer educational workshops outside the walls.
