Yom HaShoah 2025 – Reading of names at the Shoah Memorial

Every year, on the occasion of Yom HaShoah, the Shoah Memorial pays tribute to the 6 million Jews who died during the Second World War.

On April 23-24, the Shoah Memorial, Judaism in Motion (JEM), the association of the Sons and Daughters of the Jewish Deportees of France (FFDJF), the Consistory of Paris and the Consistory of France organized, under the aegis of the Foundation for the Memory of the Shoah (FMS), the reading of the names of the Jews deported from France and a series of commemorative and educational events.

During an uninterrupted public reading of 24 hours, the names of all the deportees – man, woman, child – are pronounced one by one. This year, the names of the Jews deported from France by convoys 58 to 4. and convoys 63 to 71. were read.
