France, documentary, 94 min, Les Films du Poisson & Les Films Aleph, co-produced with Arte France, 2025.

The making of Claude Lanzmann’s film Shoah is an adventure in itself. Twelve years of work, thousands of hours of preparation, trips around the world, dozens of witnesses... and so many doubts, setbacks, dead ends, but also moments of grace. Guillaume Ribot plunges into the heart of the production of a major work of cinema, closer to the obsessions of one who undertook to bring out the truth from nothingness.

In the presence of the director.

In conversation with François Ekchajzer, journalist at Télérama.
