The Immortals: Passing on Memory to Younger Generations

Monday, March 31, 2025, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the camps, and as part of the education week against racism and antisemitism, the City Hall of Paris Centre and the Shoah Memorial were able to introduce to the 3rd classes and high school students 5 short films, "The Immortals" directed by Olivier Nakache and Éric Toledano.
With more than 250 students, this screening was followed by an exchange with the directors, as well as Hubert Strouk, head of the educational department of the Shoah Memorial.
Les Immortels, a project led by Mémorial de la Shoah, pays tribute to the last survivors of the camps through a series of five short films in which young people today meet and exchange with survivors, the last living witnesses of the Holocaust.
