Renewal of the partnership agreement between the Academy of Nice and the Shoah Memorial
The Academy of Nice and the Shoah Memorial renewed, this Monday, October 6, 2025, their partnership agreement. This signature marks the consolidation of a mutual commitment to the transmission of memory, the fight against racism and anti-Semitism, and citizenship education.
Committed since January 2022, this partnership takes a new step. The renewed agreement provides for the integration of a dedicated academic correspondent. This essential mission will be responsible for the coordination and deployment of educational actions throughout the entire territory of the academy, thus ensuring better synergy between the two institutions.
Since the implementation of the first agreement, the results of the actions carried out jointly are particularly eloquent:
- 51 workshops "Outside the walls" of the Memorial were organized within the academy, raising awareness among more than 1,400 students.
- The work of memory is also supported by the deployment of traveling exhibitions and specific training for teachers, ensuring the anchoring of the values of the Republic among young people.
New ambitious projects are already planned to extend these efforts. They will notably be conducted in connection with the upcoming opening of the Shoah Memorial branch in Nice, offering new perspectives for action and proximity for schools.
