The exhibition halls

The permanent exhibition (level -1) presents a chronological and thematic journey consisting of twelve sequences that retrace the history of the Jews of France during the Holocaust. Temporary exhibitions, which develop themes or monographs related to the history of the Shoah, are a valuable mediation tool for the Memorial. Two spaces regularly host these exhibitions, the Isaac Schneersohn room, named after the founder of the Centre de Documentation Juive Contemporaine, and the Léon Poliakov room, one of the very first historians of the Shoah.
