Located in Paris, in the heart of the historic Marais district, the Shoah Memorial offers its visitors numerous resources and activities on a total surface area of nearly 5,000 m 2. Discover the different spaces that make up this place.
The permanent exhibition (level -1) presents a chronological and thematic journey made up of twelve sequences that retrace the history of the Jews of France during the Holocaust. The temporary exhibitions, which develop themes or monographs related to the history of the Shoah, constitute for the Memorial a valuable tool of mediation. Two spaces regularly host these exhibitions, the Isaac Schneersohn room, named after the founder of the Centre for Contemporary Jewish Documentation, and the Léon Poliakov room, one of the very first historians of the Shoah.
