Located in Paris, in the heart of the historic Marais district, the Shoah Memorial offers its visitors many resources and activities on a total area of almost 5,000 m 2. Discover the different spaces that make up this place.
The permanent exhibition (level -1) presents a chronological and thematic course consisting of twelve sequences that retrace the history of the Jews of France during the Holocaust. Temporary exhibitions, which develop themes or monographs related to the history of the Shoah, are a valuable mediation tool for the Memorial. Two spaces regularly host these exhibitions, the Isaac Schneersohn room, named after the founder of the Center for Contemporary Jewish Documentation, and the Leon Poliakov room, one of the very first historians of the Shoah.
