Located in the walkway alongside the Memorial, the Wall of the Righteous bears the names of more than 3,900 people who risked their lives to save Jews in France during the Second World War. They received the title of "Righteous Among the Nations", which the Yad Vashem Museum Memorial in Jerusalem has awarded since 1963. So far, the honor has been bestowed on more than 24,000 people worldwide.
